This initiative allows graduates from 2024 onwards to instantly access verified degree certificates and mark sheets. Digital Access for Graduates
Students graduating from RGPV in 2024 and later will receive digital copies of their degrees and semester mark sheets. These documents will be stored on the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) platform. DigiLocker provides a secure and internationally recognized method for accessing these credentials. This digital system aims to streamline verification processes for employers.
Obtaining an ABC ID
All RGPV students, both current and former, must obtain a 12-digit Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID. This ID is essential for associating academic records with the DigiLocker portal. Students need to generate their ABC ID through DigiLocker. They should then link this ID to their RGPV AccSoft ERP portal. This step is required to download academic certificates electronically.
Steps to Access Documents
To download RGPV academic documents on DigiLocker, follow these steps:
- Install the DigiLocker app on your smartphone or visit digilocker.gov.in.
- Sign up or log in using your Aadhaar Card Number or registered mobile number.
- If you do not have an ABC ID, search for 'Academic Bank of Credits' under the Education tab. Generate your 12-digit ID.
- Enter your generated ABC ID into your RGPV AccSoft ERP portal.
- Return to the DigiLocker homepage. Search for 'Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya'.
Data Consistency Requirement
For successful document issuance and verification, students must ensure their names and biographical details are identical across their Aadhaar card and phone network registrations. The IT Act 2000 recognizes these digital certificates as legally equivalent to physical copies.
University Mandate
RGPV has officially requested all its students to create an ABC ID. The university’s Vice Chancellor has endorsed this directive. Students are urged to update their ABC ID promptly. This ensures smooth downloading of academic certificates via the DigiLocker portal without any issues.
