Important Rules for RBSE Class 12 Practical Exams

The RBSE has given clear instructions for how to conduct the practical exams. Students and examiners must follow these rules:

  • All practical exams must follow the official syllabus.
  • Exams must be fair and transparent. This means everyone should get a fair chance, and there should be no cheating.
  • Examiners must upload the marks for practical exams online within three days after the exam.
  • Schools must keep proper attendance sheets. Students need to sign these sheets on the day of their exam. Copies of these sheets, along with the online marks, must be sent to the Board.
  • Examiners must keep all marks secret. They should be very careful when entering marks online and check them properly before saving. Once marks are locked online, no changes can be made.
  • Students and examiners are not allowed to use any electronic devices during the exams.

Instructions for Schools and Examiners

The Board has also given specific instructions for school principals and examiners to ensure smooth conduct of exams:

  • The school principal must ensure all exam-related documents are filled correctly and kept ready. These documents must be shown if the Board asks for them.
  • External examiners must upload Class 12 practical marks online within three days of completing the exam at each school.
  • After completing exams at each school, examiners need to send all required documents to the Board by Speed Post .
  • Answer sheets for practical exams must be sent to the Board within seven days of the exam.
  • Schools must inform the District Education Officer's control room three days before the practical exams start. They must also inform the control room again after all exams are finished.
  • There are special instructions for students who have moved from other schools or changed their subjects with the Board's permission. Examiners should be aware of these special cases.

Strict Ban on Electronic Devices and Cheating

The RBSE has put a complete ban on many things during the examination period to stop cheating and ensure fairness:

  • Students and examiners are not allowed to use mobile phones, calculators, electronic devices, Wi-Fi, WhatsApp , or even photocopy machines during the exams.
  • The Board has warned that using technology wrongly can harm the exam system.
  • If anyone tries to influence the exam process or offers money or gifts for marks, strict action will be taken.
  • If any such incident of cheating or misuse of technology happens, schools must immediately file a written report (FIR) at the nearest police station or the Anti-Corruption Bureau. The school must also inform the District Education Officer (Secondary) and the RBSE immediately, providing all details and proof.

Staying Updated

School principals should regularly visit the official RBSE website . This website will have the latest guidelines, announcements, and any new updates about the exams. Staying updated will help ensure that all rules are followed correctly.
