Rajasthan PTET 2025 counselling has moved into the Upward Movement phase, offering candidates a chance to secure a more preferred college seat. The process officially began on August 2, 2025, and is open only to those who completed physical reporting between July 25 and July 29, 2025, after Round 1 seat allotment.
What Is PTET Upward Movement?
The Upward Movement allows students who were allotted a college in Round 1 and physically reported on time to apply for a better allotment based on their merit and preferences. This internal upgrade system ensures candidates don’t miss out on higher-preference colleges due to dynamic seat availability.

The Upward Movement process is completely free — no extra fee is required by the PTET office, the initially allotted institution, or the new college.
Who Can Apply?
Only those candidates are eligible who:
- Were allotted a college in the Round 1 seat allotment
- Paid the ₹22,000 admission fee
- Reported in person to their allotted institution by July 29, 2025
- Candidates who failed to report physically are not eligible for this phase.
How to Apply for Upward Movement
Eligible candidates can apply through the official portal — ptetvmoukota2025.in — using their:
- Counselling ID
- Roll number
- Full name
- Parent details
- Date of birth
They must select and lock their updated college preferences before the deadline on August 4, 2025.
Upward Movement Result 2025
Once the Upward Movement result is declared on August 6, candidates can:
- Visit the official website.
- Click on "Upward Movement Result".
- Enter their Roll Number, Counselling ID, and DOB.
- Download the updated allotment letter.
If allotted a new college, report physically between August 6 and August 8 with original documents.
Correction Window Also Open
PTET has also opened a correction facility from August 2 to August 4, 2025, for candidates who wish to update personal details like Name, Father’s Name, or Mother’s Name. The changes can be made through the correction panel using the Form number, mother's name, and DOB, along with a fee of ₹500 via online payment or e-Mitra.
