June 29, 2026 – The Rajasthan Paramedical Council has cancelled an entire examination center. This decision follows allegations of paper tampering and irregularities. The center at Prabha Devi Memorial PG College in Jaipur is now non-operational. The cancellation affects multiple paramedical diploma courses.
Exam Centre Cancellation
The Controller of Examination issued an official notification on June 29. It stated the immediate cancellation of the Prabha Devi Memorial PG College exam center. The examinations held at this location have also been nullified. This impacts students enrolled in the main theory examination session 2024-25. It also includes remanded/supplementary examination sessions. First-year diploma students are also affected.
The following examinations were cancelled at the Prabha Devi Memorial PG College center:
- DCLT: Diploma in Cath-Lab Technician
- DDT: Diploma in Dialysis Technology
- DECGT: Diploma in ECG (Electrocardiogram) Technology
Cheating Racket Arrests
Jaipur police arrested four individuals linked to an alleged cheating racket. The arrests occurred ahead of the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) paramedical exams. News agency ANI reported the development.
The arrested individuals are:
- Krishna Kumar Saini: Head of Paramedical Department, S Karan College.
- Shankar Lal Jat: Lecturer, Radiology Department, S Karan College.
- Ramkrishna Mandiwal: Associated with Prabha Memorial PG College.
- Devkrishna Mandiwal: Administrator, Prabha Memorial PG College.
These individuals allegedly made a deal with the Jaipur examination center. They aimed to help students pass backlog or supplementary exams. The first-year paramedical tests were the target.
Investigation Details
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Jaipur West) Prashant Kiran provided details. Police received information on June 27. The information concerned a cheating racket. It promised students assistance for RUHS paramedical exams. These exams were scheduled to begin on June 29, 2026.
The arrested individuals reportedly took money. They received funds from 40-45 candidates. The goal was to facilitate cheating at the Prabha Devi Memorial PG College center. A case was registered at Khorabisal Police Station. Devkrishna Mandiwal and Ramkrishna Mandiwal were arrested following the registration.
The RUHS Paramedical Exam is a state-level entrance test. It is conducted by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences in Jaipur. The exam is for admission to paramedical and allied health science courses. This includes both government and private colleges in Rajasthan.
