The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has started a new entrepreneurship course for students in Class 11 and Class 12. This important two-year program will teach young people how to build their own businesses and create jobs for others. This new subject will be a compulsory part of the curriculum for all 3,692 senior secondary schools across the state of Punjab. Starting from the academic session 2026-27 , more than 5.6 lakh students are expected to gain benefits from this subject. A total of 10,382 teachers have been specially trained to deliver this curriculum. Additionally, 231 master-trainers were also trained to guide these teachers. These training sessions were conducted through 104 different programs, ensuring that educators are well-prepared to teach the subject and inspire young entrepreneurs.
