Patliputra University (PPU) released its first undergraduate merit list for 2026 admissions on June 18. The list covers admissions to undergraduate courses under the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS).
A total of 68,499 seats were allotted to applicants during the initial registration phase. PPU received 87,517 applications for undergraduate programs. This represents 78.26% of all applicants securing a seat in the first merit list.
The allotted seats are distributed across arts, science, and commerce streams within PPU's constituent and affiliated colleges. Selected candidates must confirm their admission and pay fees online. Document verification is required physically.
Enrollment Deadline and Next Steps
The deadline for completing the admission process, including fee payment and physical verification, is June 22 . Candidates must finalize their admissions before this date.
Those not listed in the first merit list should not lose hope. Their applications remain active.
How to Check the Merit List
To check your admission status and merit list placement, follow these steps:
- Visit the official PPU admission portal: ppupadm.samarth.edu.in.
- Navigate to the Applicant Login tab.
- Enter your registered email ID and password.
- Input the captcha code accurately.
- Click the Submit button to access your Admission Status Dashboard.
- Select the Download option to retrieve your First Merit Allotment Letter.
Second Merit List Information
PPU will release the Second Merit List on June 24 . Applicants who did not secure a seat in the first list can check this list.
Candidates can log in to the portal after June 22 to view updates regarding the second merit list. This provides an opportunity to secure admission if not selected initially.
