The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Cell has extended the choice filling deadline for Odisha NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1. Registered candidates now have until August 22, 2026 , to select their preferred medical and dental colleges for MBBS/BDS admissions. The revised date applies to all candidates listed on the Odisha State Merit List.
Revised Counselling Schedule
The extension affects only the Round 1 choice filling period. All other dates for the Odisha NEET UG counselling process remain as originally announced. The OJEE Cell confirmed that subsequent events will proceed according to the initial schedule.

How to Fill and Lock Choices
Candidates must log in to the official OJEE website, ojee.nic.in , to participate. They will need their NEET UG application number and password.
The steps to complete the choice filling process are:
- Visit ojee.nic.in .
- Click on the NEET UG 2026 Counselling Round 1 login link.
- Enter NEET UG application number and password.
- Navigate to the Choice Filling tab.
- Select preferred colleges and courses.
- Review the saved choices carefully.
- Click 'Lock Choices' and download the confirmation slip.
Required Documents for Counselling
Candidates should prepare the following documents for Round 1 counselling:
- NEET UG 2026 Admit Card
- NEET UG 2026 Scorecard
- Class 10 Marksheet and Certificate
- Class 12 Marksheet and Certificate
- Odisha Residence or Nativity Certificate
