Round 2 Admission Process
Students who received an allotment in this round can select the 'Freeze' option. They must then complete their online fee payment. This payment window opens today, August 17, 2026, at 6 PM. The deadline for submitting admission fees is August 20, 2026.
Admitted students must report to their allocated institutions. This reporting period runs from August 18 to August 20, 2026. Institutions will update admission data during this time. Classes for PG courses are scheduled to begin on August 21, 2026.
Waitlist Information
A list of waitlisted applicants will be published on August 25, 2026. This list will include candidates waiting for seats in higher-choice institutions. The waitlist will be rank-wise and based on actual vacancies as of August 20, 2026.
Waitlisted candidates interested in admission must report physically to their respective institutions. This is for submission of their CAF and relevant documents. This physical reporting period is from August 28 to August 29, 2026.
Institutions will publish merit lists for reported waitlisted applicants on August 31, 2026. Final admissions for waitlisted candidates will take place from September 1 to September 2, 2026. This includes document validation and fee collection.
