The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced on July 18, 2026, that fake or AI-generated OMR sheets are being submitted for scrutiny. The agency is warning candidates and parents against this practice. The NTA is reviewing all submitted complaints. Submissions that are found to be fraudulent may lead to legal action. Students must submit only original OMR sheets for review. This notification follows the declaration of the Re-NEET UG 2026 results on July 17, 2026.
Re-NEET UG 2026 Results Declared
The Re-NEET UG 2026 examination results are now available. The NTA released the results on July 17, 2026 . Candidates can check their scores and download scorecards on the official NTA website. The option to submit OMR sheets for scrutiny was open from July 13 to July 15, 2026 .
Exam Participation and Qualification
A total of 11.21 lakh candidates are eligible for medical course admissions. Close to 20 lakh students took the NEET (UG) 2026 exam. The exam was held at 5,440 centers across 551 cities in India and 14 international cities. Over 58 percent of qualified candidates are women. Approximately 93 percent of test-takers were first-time participants. Nearly 99 percent of candidates were aged between 17 and 19 years.
