The National Testing Agency (NTA) has denied claims of a paper leak for the NEET UG 2026 exam. The NTA issued a public advisory on April 29, 2026, warning students and parents against fraudulent individuals. The agency emphasized that all official information will be released through its website, neet.nta.nic.in, and official social media channels.

NTA Denies NEET 2026 Paper Leak Rumors

Reports circulating on platforms like Telegram and WhatsApp suggest a leak of the NEET 2026 question paper. The NTA stated these claims are false and intended to scam students.

The agency confirmed that all confidential exam materials have been transported securely. GPS-tracked vehicles and 24/7 CCTV surveillance are employed to maintain the integrity of the papers. There is no possibility of early access or a leak, according to the NTA.

Scam Alert Issued to Students

The NTA warned of individuals demanding approximately ₹10,000 from students for alleged access to leaked question papers. These are fraudulent attempts, the agency stated.

Exam materials are housed in secure rooms under constant monitoring. The NTA urges students to disregard such offers and focus on their preparation.

Exam Security Measures for NEET 2026

The NEET 2026 exam is scheduled for May 3, 2026 . Approximately 22.8 lakh students are registered to take the exam across over 5,400 centers nationwide.

Security protocols are in place from paper printing to distribution at the exam centers. Candidates must undergo mandatory Aadhaar-based biometric verification at their respective centers.

A two-tiered security check will be implemented at all examination venues. For candidates facing issues with biometric authentication, a manual verification process and a written undertaking will allow them to proceed with the exam.

Advice for Students

Students are advised to ignore any news or messages claiming paper leaks. Such information can be a distraction from crucial revision.

The NTA encourages students to report any suspicious messages or channels related to exam malpractice to the NTA or cybercrime authorities immediately.

Candidates must adhere to exam day guidelines. Entry to examination centers will begin at 11:00 AM . Students should ensure they arrive on time and wear permitted attire.

The NTA is implementing comprehensive arrangements, including at centers like Gurugram, to ensure a smooth examination process. Students should concentrate on their studies and avoid anxiety caused by unverified information.
