All schools in Noida will remain closed for students from nursery to Class 8 until January 15, 2026 . The District Administration in Gautam Buddha Nagar made this decision due to the severe cold wave and thick fog in the area. This step aims to keep young students safe and healthy during the harsh weather conditions.

Official Order from District Magistrate

The District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar has issued a direct order for this school closure. This rule applies to all educational institutions, including those linked with CBSE , ICSE , IB , and the Uttar Pradesh Board , along with all other recognized boards in Noida.

Reason for School Closure

The main reason for closing schools is the extremely low temperatures and very poor visibility during morning hours. These conditions can cause health problems for young children. The District Administration has clearly stated that student safety is the most important concern in this cold weather.

Instructions for Schools and Parents

All school managements and heads of institutions must follow this order strictly. The District Administration has also released important guidelines for parents and guardians. If any school does not follow these instructions, action will be taken against them as per the rules. This closure order will stay in place until January 15, 2026 , unless the administration announces any changes later.
