NIT Warangal is offering free coaching classes to help engineering students prepare for the GATE 2026 exam. The SC-ST cell at NIT Warangal will run this special program. It is open to third and fourth-year BTech students from NIT Warangal and other nearby engineering colleges. The classes will start on November 17, 2025 , and will last for eight weeks.
Students interested in joining the free coaching must apply offline. Application forms are available at the official website, nitw.ac.in. This initiative aims to provide valuable support to students planning to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2026.

Key Details of the Coaching Program
- The coaching classes will run from November 17, 2025 , until the last week of January 2026.
- Classes will be held six days a week, including Saturdays.
- The daily class timings are from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM .
- Students will receive an ID card to attend the classes.
- Regular tests will be conducted on the campus to check student progress.
- Results of weekly exams will be announced, and top-performing students will receive awards based on their department.
- Students who maintain 90% to 100% attendance will also be rewarded.
- Maintaining attendance is very important. Missing 4 classes in a row can lead to the cancellation of admission.
Eligibility and Application Process
Only third and fourth-year BTech students are eligible for this coaching program. This includes students from all engineering branches. The application process is offline. Students need to fill out an application form with their personal and college details. They must also attach a passport-size photograph along with other required documents.

About GATE 2026 Exam
IIT Guwahati will conduct the GATE 2026 examination. The exam will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026 . The test will have two shifts each day: a morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and an afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Students who plan to appear for the GATE 2026 exam can download their admit card from January 2, 2026 , from the official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
