NIOS Vocational Exam Registration Open for Oct-Nov 2026

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has opened registration for its October-November 2026 Vocational Education Examinations. The online portal for applications and fee payments is now live at voc.nios.ac.in.

Who Can Register

This registration is for vocational students who did not pass the April-May 2026 exams. It also includes students seeking to improve marks in specific modules. Students can apply through the official NIOS websites: voc.nios.ac.in or nios.ac.in.

Fee Structure and Deadlines

The standard fee for each subject or module is ₹400 . This fee covers theory, practicals, and internal assessment. The initial registration period without a late fee runs from August 20 to September 3, 2026 .

Students missing the initial deadline face late fees. A per-subject late fee of ₹150 applies for registrations between September 4 and September 8, 2026. An overall late fee of ₹1,600 per candidate is charged for registrations between September 9 and September 13, 2026.

All registrations and fee payments must be completed online. NIOS will not accept physical forms.

How to Apply

To register, visit the official NIOS portal at www.voc.nios.ac.in or www.nios.ac.in.

Look for the 'Pay Examination Fee' or 'Examination Registration' option on the homepage. Log in using your NIOS registration ID and other required details.

Select the vocational education subjects or modules for the upcoming exams. Complete the fee payment online via debit/credit cards, net banking, or UPI.

After payment, download and print your registration slip and payment receipt.
