Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh – A new skills university is coming to Andhra Pradesh. The Medhavi Foundation has joined hands with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (AP EDB) to build the Swarna Medhavi Global Skills University in Visakhapatnam. This new university aims to give young people in the state valuable job skills and create more work opportunities.
The main goal of this project is to improve skill-based education and help students find good jobs. The Medhavi Foundation, which already runs Medhavi Skills University, signed an agreement called a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AP EDB for this purpose.
Boosting Job-Ready Skills for Youth
This initiative aligns with India's National Education Policy 2020 . This policy focuses on making education more practical and job-oriented. The university will offer many ways for students to learn skills that are needed in different industries. It will also bring companies and educational institutions closer, ensuring that what students learn matches what employers need.
Mr. Kona Sasidhar welcomed the Medhavi Group to Andhra Pradesh. He stated that this partnership will make young people in the state more skilled and ready for jobs. This will help strengthen Andhra Pradesh's workforce, providing skilled workers for industries both within India and abroad.
