What to Do After Allotment: Reporting Rules

After checking your NEET UG Veterinary Round 1 allotment result, you must follow specific steps. These rules apply to all students who have been offered a seat.

  • Download Allotment Order: Download your seat allotment order from the VCI online system. The VCI will not send any paper letter. This downloaded order is crucial proof of your allotted seat.
  • Submit Your Choice (Willingness): You need to tell the VCI your decision about the offered seat. There are two options:
    • Freeze: Choose 'Freeze' if you are fully satisfied with the college and course offered. This means you accept the seat and will not try for better options in later counselling rounds.
    • Float: Choose 'Float' if you accept the current seat but also want to try for a better college or course in the next round of counselling. If you get an upgraded seat, your current seat will be cancelled. If no upgrade, your 'floated' seat remains yours.
  • Report to College (for 'Freeze' Option): If you choose 'Freeze', you must report physically to the allotted college. This must be done between October 15 and October 21, 2025 . Submit your original documents for verification and complete admission formalities.
  • Failure to Report: If you fail to report to the institute by the deadline, your allotted seat will be cancelled. You will lose your chance for admission through this round.

Documents Required for Reporting

Prepare these necessary documents before visiting the allotted college:

  • NEET UG Admit Card
  • NEET UG Scorecard
  • VCI Allotment Order (downloaded online)
  • Class 10 Mark Sheet and Passing Certificate
  • Class 12 Mark Sheet and Passing Certificate
  • Proof of Identity (e.g., Aadhaar Card)
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Disability Certificate (if applicable)
  • Passport-size Photographs
  • Any other documents specified by VCI or the college.

Always check the VCI or college website for the full, exact list of documents. Carry originals and photocopies. Complete all steps between October 15 and October 21, 2025 to secure your BVSc & AH admission.
