Candidates should monitor the website for updates.
NEET UG Counselling Process
The NEET UG 2026 counselling process is for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses. It covers All India Quota seats and Institutional Quota seats. Central Universities, including Aligarh Muslim University and Banaras Hindu University, are included. Seats for wards of ESIC insured persons and the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune are also part of this process.
Interested candidates must register on the official MCC website. After registration, they will fill out their choices for seat allotment. The seat allotment result will follow the processing of these choices.
Counselling Rounds
NEET UG counselling is conducted in three main rounds. A spot admission round and a stray vacancy round follow. Candidates wishing to participate in subsequent rounds must re-register. They must also submit new choices. These choices will be considered based on available seats in each category.
After each round, MCC will publish the seat matrix. This matrix lists available seats. Candidates can use this information when making choices for the next round of counselling.
