The registration period for the 12.36 lakh applicants who passed the NEET UG 2025 will open, according to MCC. For admission to 15% AIQ seats for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, and AYUSH programs, the NEET UG counseling 2025 will take place.
The MCC NEET UG counseling 2025 application form will be accessible on the official website, mcc.nic.in. Soon, the NEET UG counseling 2025 booklet, list of participating institutions, and provisional seat matrix will be posted on the internet.
According to data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in April 2025, there are 1,18,190 MBBS seats available in India. Of these, 1,15,250 seats for MBBS were filled last year through NEET UG counseling 2024–25. Only 1.18 lakh MBBS seats will be up for grabs this year among the 12.36 lakh NEET-qualified applicants. Through the counseling process, just one out of ten candidates would be able to secure a spot in the MBBS program.
NEET UG Counselling 2025: Registration
NEET counselling registration – The email address and mobile number that were provided during the NTA application process for NEET UG 2025 should be used by candidates. Candidates will have until 12 p.m. on July 28 to register after the MCC NEET UG counseling registration opens.
NEET counselling fees - The refundable security deposit and non-refundable registration fee must be paid at the time of registration. Candidates from the general and EWS categories must pay Rs 1,000 to be admitted to central universities under the 15% AIQ quota, while candidates from the SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories must pay Rs 500.
Those from UR and EWS are required to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 10,000, while those from other categories must pay Rs 5,000. The registration cost for deemed universities is Rs 5,000. At the time of registration, applicants must additionally pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 2 lakh.
NEET UG choice filling - The MCC will open the online facility to fill choices of courses and colleges from July 22 to 28. Candidates are required to submit their choice of medical courses and the desired colleges in the order of preference. The choice locking facility will be opened from 4 pm on July 28 and will be available till 11.55 pm on the same day.
NEET UG round 1 seat allotment 2025 - Based on the choices filled by candidates, the MCC will announce the first seat allotment results 2025 on July 31.
