The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for NEET UG 2026 candidates to submit bank details for fee refunds. The new deadline is June 22, 2026 .
Refund Window Extended
Around 13 lakh candidates have already provided their bank account information. This extension allows more students to claim refunds for the cancelled NEET UG 2026 examination. The exam was originally scheduled for May 3, 2026, and was cancelled due to a paper leak.
How to Submit Bank Details
Candidates must log in to the NEET (UG)-2026 registration portal. They will need their application number and password. A dedicated refund link is available on the portal. Students should enter their Account Holder Name, IFSC Code, Account Number, and Bank Name. Submitting a scanned copy of a cancelled cheque is optional but recommended for accuracy.
The process requires accurate bank information to ensure successful fund transfer.
Steps for Refund Submission
- Visit the official NEET UG 2026 website.
- Locate and click on the refund window link.
- Log in using your application number and password.
- Enter the required bank details: Account Holder Name, IFSC Code, Account Number, and Bank Name.
- Optionally, upload a scanned copy of a cancelled cheque.
- Save your entries and click submit.
Failure to submit details by the extended deadline will result in forfeiture of the refund.
