The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened a correction window for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Candidates can update their present address and select preferred examination cities. Correction Window Details
Candidates can choose their first and second preferences for exam cities. The NTA states that no other personal details can be modified. Any changes not made by the deadline will not be processed. The NTA will not accept any requests for changes after May 21.
No Fee for Re-examination
The NTA has confirmed there will be no fee charged for the correction process or the re-examination. This decision was previously announced by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Admit Cards and Exam City Slips
The exam city intimation slip and admit cards are expected to be released soon. The NTA anticipates these will be available by June 14, 2026 . Candidates should check the official website for further updates.
Re-examination Schedule
The NEET UG 2026 re-examination is scheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2026 . The exam will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. It will be conducted in pen-and-paper (offline) mode. The examination will be offered in 13 languages.
