NEET UG 2026 OMR Sheet Challenge Open

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the scanned OMR response sheets for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination on July 13, 2026. Candidates can access these images and their recorded responses on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. The re-exam took place on June 21, 2026.

The NTA has opened a window for candidates to challenge any discrepancies. This includes mismatches between the physical OMR sheet and recorded responses. Candidates can also report errors in captured data fields. The challenge window closes on July 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM .

NEET UG 2026 OMR Challenge Details

The challenge facility allows candidates to verify how their answers were scanned and recorded. They can report issues with their marked answers. Additionally, errors in data fields such as roll number, booklet number, and test booklet set code can be flagged.

The cost to challenge a response is Rs 200 per response . This fee must be paid online.

How to Challenge OMR Responses

  • Visit the official website: neet.nta.nic.in .
  • Log in using your application number and password.
  • Complete Two Factor Authentication via OTP.
  • Navigate to 'View/Challenge OMR Sheet and Recorded Responses'.
  • Compare your physical OMR sheet with the scanned version.
  • Select the question or data field to challenge.
  • Pay the Rs 200 fee per challenge online.
  • Submit the challenge and download the acknowledgement page.

Candidates are advised to download and keep the acknowledgement page for future reference. The NTA will review all submitted challenges. If a challenge is verified, necessary corrections will be made.

It is important to note that the Answer Key Challenge process has already concluded. Therefore, candidates can only raise objections regarding discrepancies in their OMR response recordings or captured data fields.
