Reservation Breakdown for AIQ Seats
For the 15% AIQ seats, specific quotas are in place. These include reservations for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). A horizontal reservation is also available for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Important Policy Guidelines
Compliance with the Central Government List is mandatory for OBC-NCL and EWS quotas. Certificates must adhere to the prescribed financial format. State-level category certificates are not accepted for central counseling. Category certificates must be obtained from the competent authority designated by the Central Government.
Exemptions and State Quotas
Deemed Universities do not follow the reservation policy. They fill 100% of seats through open merit or management quota. Admissions through the 85% state quota in government and private state colleges are managed according to individual State/Union Territory reservation policies.
Required Documentation
Students seeking benefits under these reserved categories must present valid certificates. These certificates must meet the criteria set by the Central Government. Failure to provide compliant documentation will result in denial of reservation benefits.
