Students who missed the Delhi Quota option for NEET UG 2026 admissions can still apply. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has enabled an unlocking process. This allows candidates to apply for seats in Delhi-based institutions. This includes colleges affiliated with Delhi University (DU) and IP University (VMMC, RML). MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programs are included.
Apply for Delhi Seats Quota
Candidates can add the Delhi Quota to their application. This is available through the NEET UG counselling portal. Applicants must carefully follow the updated steps on the official MCC website (mcc.nic.in). The process involves unlocking the registration. Then, select ‘Apply for Section’ and choose the relevant Delhi Quota seats. Finally, submit the application with the necessary changes.
Important Dates for NEET UG 2026 Round 1
The registration and fee payment window is from August 5 to August 12, 2026 . Candidates can register until 3:00 PM on August 12. The choice filling window is open from August 6 to August 13, 2026 . Choice locking is available until 11:55 PM on August 13. Seat allotment processing occurs from August 13 to August 16. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on August 17, 2026 . Physical reporting at allotted colleges is scheduled from August 18 to August 22.
