Exam Day Essentials
Candidates must possess a hard copy of their NEET UG Admit Card 2026 . This document is mandatory for entry. A valid photo identification proof is also required for verification. Successful completion of verification, including biometrics, will grant access to the examination hall.
Exam Schedule and Entry
The NEET UG 2026 exam will take place from 3 PM to 5 PM. Entry to the exam hall opens at 11 AM. Candidates should arrive at their designated center at least one hour before the examination begins. The entry gates will close strictly at 1:30 PM. Latecomers will not be permitted to enter.

Guidelines: What to Bring and Not Bring
The NTA has issued specific guidelines for candidates:
- Transparent water bottles are permitted.
- Articles of faith can be worn but require advance arrival at the center for frisking.
- Light clothing is advised. Full sleeves or woolen garments are allowed, also subject to early arrival for frisking.
- Footwear should be slippers or low heels.
Prohibited Items
Several items are strictly forbidden inside the NEET UG 2026 examination center. These include smartwatches, calculators, and mobile phones. Candidates are also prohibited from leaving the exam hall before the conclusion of the examination.
