Over 10 lakh students downloaded their National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026 admit cards within 24 hours of the facility opening. The National Testing Agency (NTA) reported this high volume on June 16, 2026 . Students are experiencing server issues while trying to access their hall tickets.
Server Issues Hamper Admit Card Downloads
Many medical aspirants are facing difficulties downloading their NEET UG 2026 admit cards. The NTA stated its technical teams are addressing server load. They assure all candidates will receive admit cards before the examination date. Reports indicate website unresponsiveness and crashes throughout the day. Some students can only access the portal late at night.
Refund Confusion and Resubmission Concerns
The NTA is also facing criticism regarding a refund resubmission option. This arose after some students skipped the bank detail edit option when downloading admit cards. They later saw a message stating they had agreed not to receive a refund. This caused significant confusion.
The NTA clarified via X (formerly Twitter) that refunds will be processed directly to bank accounts. They warned students against fraudulent calls or messages claiming to expedite refunds. The agency stated they will never ask for OTPs, passwords, or payment for refund processing. However, students remain concerned. They are commenting that the 'edit and verify bank details option hinders admit card access.
Students are calling for the removal of this option. The NTA has not yet officially addressed these specific concerns. An official clarification is anticipated. Many are questioning the necessity of refund resubmission on X.
