The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced that registration for the NEET UG 2025 Online Stray Vacancy Round begins today, November 4, 2025 . This round offers a final chance for students to get admission to MBBS and BDS courses. Students can start filling their college choices from tomorrow, November 5, 2025 . The last day to register and fill choices for this round is November 9, 2025 .
This Stray Vacancy Round is open to students who have not yet secured a seat in any of the earlier counselling rounds, including both All India Counselling and State Level Counselling. The MCC will release a list of vacant seats, called the 'seat matrix', before the choice filling process starts. Students should check this list carefully to see which colleges and courses are available before making their choices.

Who Can Apply for This Round?
You can join the NEET UG 2025 Online Stray Vacancy Round if you meet these conditions:
- You did not get any medical or dental seat in the previous All India Counselling rounds.
- You also did not get any seat in your State Level Counselling rounds.
- If you have not registered for any MCC NEET 2025 Counselling round before, you must register now and pay the fees.
- If you registered in earlier rounds but did not get a seat, you do not need to register again. You can simply log in directly to fill your college choices from November 5.
How to Register and Apply Online
Follow these easy steps to register for the NEET 2025 Stray Vacancy Round:
- Visit the official MCC NEET Counselling website: mcc.nic.in/ug-medical-counselling/
- Look for the 'Candidate Activity Board' section on the homepage and click on 'New Registration 2025'.
- On the next page, click on the 'New Candidate Registration' tab.
- Enter your details as asked to create your login ID and password.
- Log in using the new details and fill out the application form carefully.
- Pay the required registration fee and security deposit. You can use a Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking for payment.
