The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super Specialty (NEET SS) 2025 is an important exam for doctors who wish to pursue advanced medical courses like DM, MCh, and DrNB. This exam will take place on December 26 and 27, 2025 . The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducts this test and has released important rules for the exam day. All students appearing for the NEET SS 2025 exam must follow these rules strictly. Not following them can lead to problems, and you might not be allowed to take the exam.

Understanding these guidelines clearly helps ensure a smooth and stress-free experience at the exam center. Here is a simple guide on what you need to bring and what you must avoid on your exam day.

Documents You Must Carry for NEET SS 2025 Exam

When you go to the NEET SS 2025 exam center, you must carry specific documents. Make sure you have all of them ready well before the exam day. These documents are needed to confirm your identity and eligibility to take the test.

  • NEET SS 2025 Admit Card: You must bring a printed copy of your admit card. This is your official entry pass to the exam hall. It is very important that you paste a recent passport-size photograph on your admit card. This photo should be the same one you used when you filled out your application form. Make sure the photo is clearly visible and properly pasted.
  • Photocopy of Medical Registration Certificate: You need to carry a clear photocopy of your Permanent State Medical Council (SMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC) registration certificate. This document proves that you are a registered medical professional.
  • Valid Photo Identity Card (Original): You must bring one of the original (not a photocopy) government photo ID cards from the list below. This helps in verifying your identity at the exam center. Make sure the name on your ID matches the name on your admit card, and your photo is clear.

    • Driving License
    • Voter ID Card
    • Passport
    • Aadhaar Card with Photograph

NEET SS 2025 Exam Day Rules

Here are the essential rules you need to follow before and during the NEET SS 2025 examination.

Arrival Time at the Exam Center

It is crucial to reach your exam center well before the official reporting time. Arriving early helps you locate your exam room, complete all entry checks without rush, and settle down comfortably before the exam begins.

  • Morning Shift: If your exam is scheduled for the morning, you must reach the exam center by 7:00 AM .
  • Evening Shift: If your exam is scheduled for the evening, you must reach the exam center by 12:00 PM (noon) .

Please remember that there are strict closing times for entry. No student will be allowed to enter the exam center after these times, even if you are delayed by a short while:

  • Last Entry for Morning Shift: 8:30 AM
  • Last Entry for Evening Shift: 1:30 PM

Plan your travel to the exam center carefully to avoid any delays. Once the entry gates close, you will not be permitted to enter, and you will miss your chance to take the exam.

Items Not Allowed in the Exam Hall

To ensure a fair and secure examination for everyone, certain items are strictly prohibited inside the exam center. Do not bring any of these items with you:

  • Electronic Gadgets: This includes all types of mobile phones, smartwatches, fitness bands, Bluetooth devices, earphones, and calculators. Carrying any electronic device can lead to serious consequences, including being removed from the exam hall.
  • Bags and Personal Items: You are not allowed to bring bags, wallets, purses, belts, or any kind of jewellery (such as rings, earrings, necklaces, or bracelets).
  • Food and Drinks: No eatables or drinks are permitted inside the exam premises.

It is best to leave all prohibited items at home. If you must carry them, try to make arrangements for someone to keep them outside the exam center. The exam centers usually do not provide safe storage facilities for personal belongings.

Dress Code for the Exam

There is a simple dress code to follow on exam day. This helps with security checks and ensures everyone can enter the exam hall without problems:

  • Clothes: Wear simple, light-coloured clothes. Avoid wearing clothes with big buttons, fancy designs, or multiple layers.
  • Footwear: You should wear open footwear, such as slippers or sandals. Avoid wearing shoes or any closed-toe footwear.

Following these simple dress code rules helps make the security check process quick and easy for you.

Remember, all these rules are put in place to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the NEET SS 2025 exam. Make sure you read your admit card thoroughly for any additional or specific instructions. We wish you good luck with your exam!
