Steps for NEET PG Round 1 Counselling
The counselling process happens online in several steps. Follow each step carefully.
1. Registration
- Visit the official MCC website.
- Sign in using your NEET PG roll number and password.
- Fill in personal details and contact information.
- Use a valid email ID and mobile number; all future messages will be sent here. Do not change them during admission.
2. Fee Payment
- Pay the non-refundable counselling fee online after registration.
- Fee details:
- General candidates: Rs 1,000
- Reserved (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) candidates: Rs 500
- Deemed Universities applicants: Rs 5,000
- Pay the fee by November 5, 2025 , till 3 PM .
3. Choice Filling
- After paying the fee, select your preferred courses and colleges.
- Prepare a list of desired medical colleges and specializations first.
- Add many choices to increase your chances of getting a seat.
4. Choice Locking
- Once choices are filled, you must lock them. This is mandatory.
- Choice locking confirms your selected colleges and courses; you cannot change them after this.
- The choice locking window is from 4 PM to 11:55 PM on November 5, 2025 .
- If you forget to lock, the system will auto-lock your last saved choices at 11:55 PM . It is better to lock them yourself.
What Happens After Choice Locking?
After choices are locked, MCC will process applications. Seats are allotted based on NEET PG rank, choices, and seat availability. Candidates must check the seat allotment results online. Those who get a seat need to download their allotment letter and report to the allotted college within the given time for document verification and admission.
