Important Instructions for Choice Filling
To make sure your choice filling goes smoothly, follow these steps:
- Use the Right Device: It is best to use a desktop computer or a laptop. Avoid using mobile phones. Make sure your browser, like Chrome or Firefox, is updated to its latest version. This helps avoid technical problems during the process.
 - Log In Correctly: Go to the official MCC counselling portal. Use your NEET PG roll number and your password to sign in. These details are unique to you.
 - Research Colleges Carefully: Before you start selecting, do your homework. Look at the colleges you are interested in. Check the 'seat matrix' for each college. The seat matrix shows how many seats are available for each course. Also, find out the course fees and any other important details about the college. This research helps you make smart choices.
 - Check Revised Seat Matrix: The MCC recently updated the seat list for Round 1. About 103 seats have been removed from the list. It is very important to check the latest and revised seat matrix before making your final selections. This ensures you are choosing from currently available seats.
 - Choose Many Options: There is no limit to how many colleges and courses you can select. It is a good idea to choose as many options as you are comfortable with. Choosing more options increases your chances of getting a seat in a good college.
 - Lock Your Choices: This is a crucial step. After you have selected all your preferred colleges and courses, you must 'lock' them. Choice locking means you are finalizing your selections. This will happen on November 4, 2025, from 4 PM to 11:55 PM . If you do not lock your choices, they will not be considered for seat allotment. This means your efforts in filling choices will go to waste.

What Happens After Choice Locking?
After all candidates have locked their choices, the MCC will start the seat allotment process. The system will look at your chosen colleges, the available seats (seat matrix), and the admission rules. Based on these factors, seats will be given to eligible students. The results of the seat allotment will be announced later. Keep checking the MCC website for updates on the results and further steps.
Remember to complete all steps before the deadlines. Missing a deadline can cause you to lose your chance for admission in this round.
