Application Edit Window Details
The edit window opened on July 25, 2026. It allows registered candidates to modify specific information within their application forms. This is the final opportunity for applicants to rectify errors before further processing.
Editable and Non-Editable Fields
Applicants can edit most details in their application form. However, certain fields are permanently locked and cannot be changed. These include:
- Name
- Nationality
- Email ID
- Mobile Number
- Aadhaar Details
- Correspondence Address
- Test State Preferences
What Happens Next
Following the closure of the main edit window, a Selective Edit Window will open on July 31, 2026. This period is specifically for correcting uploaded images.
Image Scrutiny Process
NBE will scrutinize uploaded images, including photographs, signatures, and thumb impressions. Candidates with deficient or non-compliant images will be notified via email and their applicant login dashboard. They must correct these issues during the Selective Edit Window.
The process of scrutiny, rejection, and re-upload for images may occur multiple times within the Selective Edit Window period. The status of each image will be updated to "Accepted" or "Rejected" on the dashboard.
