The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) began its 2026 counselling process on June 1. Candidates can register online at nchmcounselling.nic.in. The counselling is for admission to the B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration program.
Registration and Choice Filling
Registration and selection of preferred institutes opened on June 1. The deadline to complete registration and submit choices is June 4, 2026 . Applicants must pay a non-refundable counselling fee of ₹2,000 during this period.
Key Dates
The NCHMCT JEE counselling schedule includes several key dates for applicants. Seat allotment processing for the first round occurs on June 5, with results released on June 6, 2026 . Document upload and verification runs from June 7 to June 9. A display of vacancies after the first round will be available on June 11.
The final round registration and choice filling are scheduled for June 12 to June 14. The final seat allotment result will be announced on June 16, 2026 . Physical reporting at the institutes is set between June 20 and July 24, 2026. The academic session begins in July 2026.
Fees and Seat Acceptance
A counselling registration fee of ₹2,000 is required. Candidates offered a seat must pay a Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) of ₹20,000. This fee confirms admission and allows participation in further counselling rounds.
Required Documents
Applicants need to prepare several documents for verification. These include the NCHMCT JEE 2026 Admit Card and Scorecard. Proof of education, such as Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates, is necessary. Applicants claiming category reservations must provide a category certificate. Passport-size photographs and a valid photo ID are also required. A medical certificate may be requested.
Institute Admissions
The counselling process will facilitate admissions for over 12,000 seats. Approximately 80 hotel management institutes are participating. This includes Central IHMs, State Government IHMs, PSU institutes, and private colleges.
