Important Steps After Checking the Merit List

Once you download the merit list, follow these important instructions:

  • Check All Your Details: Look closely at all the information on the list. Make sure your name , category , NEET PG roll number , All India Rank (AIR) , and State Rank are all correct. Any small mistake can cause problems later in the admission process.
  • Report Errors Immediately: If you find any error or difference in your details, you must tell the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) authorities right away. The last day to report any mistakes is November 7, 2025 . Do not delay this step, as corrections might not be possible later.
  • Understand the Provisional List: The list released on November 6, 2025 , is a ‘provisional’ list. This means it is a temporary list. The final list will be published only after all objections are checked and fixed. This process helps ensure accuracy for everyone before seats are allotted.

What Happens Next? The Admission Process Stages

After the provisional merit list is out and objections are addressed, the admission process moves to the next stages. These stages are very important for getting a seat in a medical college in Madhya Pradesh.

1. Choice Filling Process

Candidates whose names appear in the merit list are allowed to fill in their choices. This step is also called 'choice filling' or 'web options entry'. In this process, you will choose your preferred colleges and medical courses online. You can select multiple options based on your interest and your rank.

  • When to Fill Choices: You can fill and lock your preferred colleges and courses online from November 9, 2025 , to November 11, 2025 . Make sure to complete this within these given dates. If you miss this window, you might lose your chance for admission.
  • How to Fill Choices: You will need to log in to the official website using your credentials. There, you can select the medical colleges and postgraduate courses you wish to join. It is good practice to research and list your choices in order of your preference before you start filling them online.

2. Seat Allotment Results (Round 1)

After candidates fill their choices, the DME will process these choices. This is done based on your NEET PG rank and the availability of seats in different colleges and courses. The results for the first round of seat allotment will be announced on November 13, 2025 .

  • Check Your Allotment: On November 13, 2025 , visit the official website to see if you have been allotted a seat. The website will show which college and course you have received in Round 1.

3. Download Allotment Letter

If you are allotted a seat in Round 1, you must download your allotment letter. This letter serves as proof that you have received a seat in a specific college and course. It will contain all the necessary details about your allotted institution and program.

  • Where to Download: You can download the allotment letter from the official website. It is very important to keep this letter safe, as you will need it for the further admission steps, including reporting to the allotted college.

This entire process helps students secure their seats for postgraduate medical studies in Madhya Pradesh. Always refer to the official website, me.mponline.gov.in , for the latest updates and follow all instructions carefully to avoid any issues with your admission.
