The Madhya Pradesh Department of Higher Education (DHE) has launched online admissions for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs for the 2026-2027 academic year. Prospective students can now register for seats through the official e-Pravesh portal.
UG and PG Admissions Open
Online registration for undergraduate courses, including BA, BSc, and BCom, begins on May 1, 2026 . Postgraduate registrations follow on May 2, 2026 . The admissions process will take place on the consolidated e-Pravesh website: epravesh.highereducation.mp.gov.in.
The initial phase of admissions includes registration, document verification, and choice filling. This stage is set to conclude by mid-May. The first merit lists for UG courses will be released on May 20, 2026 . For PG candidates, the first merit list will be available on May 21, 2026 .
Key Requirements for Applicants
All applicants must possess a current Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID. This is a requirement for completing profiles under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Students should ensure their ABC ID is generated and mapped before or during the registration process.
Admission Schedule Overview
The admission process involves multiple rounds to ensure maximum seat occupancy. This includes a College-Level Counseling (CLC) phase for any remaining vacant seats. The DHE aims for a swift completion of admissions to start the academic year promptly.

Additional Admission Rounds
Following the first round, a second admission round and a College-Level Counseling (CLC) round will commence on May 28, 2026 . These rounds are for filling seats that remain vacant after the initial merit list allotments.
Information regarding walk-in interviews for major and minor subject adjustments has also been released. These interviews will run from April 27 to May 14.
