The Maharashtra State CET Cell has opened registrations for the MHT CET 2026 Centralised Admission Process (CAP). This process covers admissions for the 2026-27 academic year. Candidates can apply online for nine courses. These include BE/Btech, MBA, BEd, BPEd, MPEd, 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB, MEd, and the integrated BEd-MEd program. The official CAP portal is used for applications.
Registration Numbers Released
As of the latest update, 219,613 candidates have registered. The BE/Btech program has received the highest number of applications. Over 104,393 candidates are seeking admission to engineering degrees.
Students who passed the MHT CET 2026 exam but have not yet registered for CAP should do so. They must meet the respective deadlines to avoid issues.
The CET Cell will announce the counselling schedule for remaining courses separately. This schedule will be released in the coming days.

Important Dates
Candidates must register before the deadlines for their chosen courses. The dates are as follows:
- BE/BTech: July 12, 2026
- MBA/MMS: July 12, 2026
- BEd: July 16, 2026
- 5-Year LLB: July 9, 2026
During registration, candidates must upload a passport-sized color photograph and signature. These must be in JPG/JPEG format. All required documents must be in PDF format. Specifications are available on the CET Cell website.
