Documents Needed to Apply

Make sure you have these documents ready before starting your application:

  • An updated Aadhaar Card.
  • Your APAAR ID.
  • Disability Certificate and/or Unique Disability ID (UDID Card), if you are a PwD candidate.
  • Scribe Details, if you are a PwD candidate and need someone to write the exam for you.

Common Mistakes That Can Lead to Form Rejection

Students must be careful when filling the form to avoid rejection. Here are common mistakes to avoid:

1. Incorrect Aadhaar or APAAR ID Details

Your name, date of birth, gender, and address entered on the CET cell portal must exactly match what is on your Aadhaar card. Any difference can cause delays in checking your details or lead to your form being rejected. Also, ensure the APAAR ID you use is correct and properly linked for academic data.

2. Uploading Wrong or Poor-Quality Photograph

Follow the rules for uploading your photograph:

  • The photo size must be 50 mm x 50 mm.
  • The file size must be between 100 KB and 5 MB.
  • The image should be clear, show your face from the front, with your eyes open.
  • Use a plain background.
  • There should be no shadows on your face, and your head should be in the center.
  • Do not wear caps or hats, unless for religious reasons.

Uploading a blurry, badly cut, or incorrect photo can lead to your application being rejected. The same photo will appear on your MHT CET admit card.

3. Typographical Errors in Personal Details

Your name, date of birth, and parents' details must exactly match your official school certificates. These small errors are very common and are often difficult to correct later. Some fields cannot be changed even during the correction period. So, double-check all personal details before you submit the form.

4. Mismatch in Academic Information

The details you enter for your Class 12 or Diploma, such as percentage, board name, and year of passing, must match your mark sheets. Incorrect information in this section can result in your form being cancelled during the checking process.

5. Signature & Document Upload Issues

  • Make sure your scanned signature is clear and looks like your usual signature.
  • All scanned documents must be easy to read.
  • Use the correct file formats as specified on the website.
