MHT CET 2026: Fees Increased, Registration Open for Two Sessions

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has announced new application fees for the MHT CET 2026 exam. Students planning to apply for engineering, pharmacy, or agriculture courses in Maharashtra colleges will need to pay updated fees this year. Online registration for MHT CET 2026 began on January 10 , and the last date to apply is February 12 . The application fees have increased for both general and reserved category candidates. Last year, the fee for general category candidates applying for one group was INR 1000 . This year, it has increased by INR 300 . For reserved category candidates, the fee has gone up by INR 200 . This change comes as the MHT CET exam will now be held twice a year, giving students two chances to take the test and improve their scores.

MHT CET 2026 Application Fees: What You Need to Pay

Here are the detailed application fees for MHT CET 2026, depending on your category and how many groups/attempts you choose:

This means if you want to take the PCM exam in both sessions, you will pay INR 2600 (General) or INR 2000 (Reserved). The same fees apply if you want to take the PCB exam in both sessions. The fee for taking both PCM and PCB groups (one attempt for each) is also INR 2600 (General) or INR 2000 (Reserved).
