The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has announced the dates for the 2026 Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Supplementary Examination. Students who did not pass the main Class 10 exams can register starting April 14, 2026. The registration window closes on April 21, 2026.
The official notification was released on April 7, 2026, following the announcement of the regular examination results. Students who failed one or more subjects must apply through designated examination centers. Direct applications from individual students are not permitted.
Exam Schedule and Registration Details
The tentative dates for the supplementary exams are from May 1 to May 8, 2026 . This compressed timeline aims to allow students to complete their exams and transition to the higher secondary session without losing a year.
Students must visit the official MBOSE website, mbose.in , to find approved examination centers and details on fee requirements. The board reported an 86% pass rate for the main examination. The supplementary exams provide an opportunity for the remaining students to pass.
MBOSE anticipates releasing the supplementary exam results by the last week of May 2026. Successful candidates can then proceed to Class 11.
How to Register
Students should first verify their examination results released on April 7. Registration requires visiting the official MBOSE website (mbose.in) from April 14.
