Maharashtra SSC HSC Result 2026: Dates, How to Check, Passing Marks

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce Class 10th (SSC) and Class 12th (HSC) board exam results for 2026. Students can expect their results in May 2026 . These results will be available online for all students. You will need your roll number and mother’s first name to check your scores.

The Maharashtra Board conducted the Class 10th (SSC) exams between February 20 and March 18, 2026 . The Class 12th (HSC) exams took place from February 10 to March 11, 2026 . All exams were held in pen and paper mode.

Once declared, students can check their Maharashtra SSC and HSC results on the official websites. Make sure you have your admit card ready with your roll number.

  • Visit the official result website: mahresult.nic.in . Other websites are hscresult.mkcl.org and msbshse.co.in .
  • Look for the link that says ‘Maharashtra SSC result 2026’ or ‘Maharashtra HSC result 2026’. Click on the correct link.
  • A new page will open. Enter your roll number in the first box.
  • Enter your mother’s first name in the second box.
  • Check the details you entered and click on ‘Submit’.
  • Your Maharashtra Board result will appear on the screen.
  • You can take a printout or screenshot of your result for future use. Remember, this online result is only for quick information. You must collect your original marksheet from your school later.

Check Results via SMS

If you face problems checking results online due to heavy website traffic, you can also get your Maharashtra SSC result through SMS. This is a simple and quick method.

Steps to check results by SMS:

  • Open your phone’s messaging app.
  • Type an SMS in this format: MHSSCSEAT NO. (For example, if your seat number is 123456, type: MHSSC 123456)
  • Send this message to 57766 .
  • You will receive your SSC result as an SMS on the same mobile number.

Understanding Passing Marks and Grading System

To pass the Maharashtra SSC Board Exams 2026, students must score at least 35% marks in total. This includes marks from both theory and practical papers for each subject. Students who do not achieve these passing marks will have another chance through supplementary exams.
