Merit List Release and Next Steps
The merit list details candidates eligible for the state's Common Admission Process (CAP) counselling rounds. Candidates can access the list on the official CET Cell website. This provisional list allows students to submit any grievances or corrections. Supporting documents are required for any proposed changes.
The window for submitting grievances is from August 19 to August 20, 2026 . The final merit list will be published on August 21, 2026 . Following this, the seat matrix will also be released on the same day.

Online Choice Filling and Allotment
Candidates will engage in the online choice and preference filling process for Group A from August 22 to August 24, 2026 . The declaration of the CAP Round 1 allotment results is scheduled for August 25, 2026 . This result is separate from the merit list.
Selected candidates must report to their allotted colleges for admission between August 26 and August 30, 2026 . They must bring all original documents and a demand draft for requisite fees. Failure to submit the demand draft on time may lead to admission cancellation.
