The first round of Maharashtra NEET MDS counseling 2025 for postgraduate dental admissions will close today, according to the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. If NEET MDS qualified applicants want to take part in the Maharashtra NEET MDS counseling 2025, they must finish the registration process today.
Candidates may apply for counseling under the 50% state quota seats in state government, corporations, state and central government-aided, unaided private, and minority dental institutions if they passed the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS).
The deadline to apply for round 1 of the Maharashtra NEET MDS counseling 2025 is today, per the schedule, via the official website, mahacet.org. To be considered for the seat allocation, they must pay today and upload all required paperwork.

After filling the application form, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 3,000. Those applying for admission to government dental colleges in Maharashtra without constitutional reservation will have to pay Rs. 25,000, and Rs 1 lakh security deposit if they are applying for government or private colleges.

Maharashtra NEET MDS 2025: Seat matrix
The Maharashtra MDS seat matrix for the 50% state quota seats will also be uploaded by the State CET Cell today. In Maharashtra government dental colleges, in-service students who have been employed for at least three years would be eligible for 15% of the 50% seats in postgraduate degree programs. Only 1 % of postgraduate seats will be set aside for candidates from the orphan category, and five percent of open seats in the government and government-aided sectors will be designated for people with disabilities (PWDs). "After excluding All India Quota (AIQ), constitutional reservation will be applicable in available state quota seats," the informational leaflet stated.
