Program Overview
The fellowship aims to involve youth in understanding and solving state-level development challenges. Participants will work on district-level projects. They will also develop new ideas and tech solutions. The selection process prioritizes merit.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet specific age and academic requirements. Applicants must be between 21 and 26 years old as of May 8, 2026. This means they must have been born between May 8, 2000, and May 8, 2005.
A graduate degree is mandatory. The degree must be in any discipline. Candidates need a minimum of 60% marks in their graduate studies.
Proficiency in the Marathi language is required. This includes reading, writing, and speaking Marathi. Knowledge of Hindi and English is also necessary. Basic computer and internet skills are essential.
Fellowship Details
Fellows will complete fieldwork. This work will be alongside a specialized course. The course is designed by IIT Bombay . Placements will be handled by the Commissionerate of Economics and Statistics. Fellows cannot choose their assigned authority.
