Next Steps for Selected Candidates
Candidates who have been allotted seats for the first time or wish to freeze their current allotment must confirm their seat online. They will need to pay the seat acceptance fee through their candidate login. This process is scheduled from August 16 to August 18, 2026, until 3:00 PM .
Following online confirmation, candidates must report to their allotted engineering institutions. Document verification and payment of admission fees will take place at the institute. This physical reporting is required by August 18, 2026, by 5:00 PM .

Post-Result Options
Auto-Freeze: If a candidate receives their first preference seat, it will be auto-frozen. They must pay the acceptance fee online and report to the institute by August 18, 2026. Further rounds will not be accessible.
Self-Freeze: Candidates satisfied with a seat other than their first preference can self-freeze. They must pay the fee and confirm admission at the college.
Not-Freeze (Betterment): Candidates who want to keep their current seat but seek a better option in CAP Round 3 can select 'Not-Freeze'. They must pay the seat acceptance fee.
