Maharashtra students will soon receive a single marksheet-certificate for Class 10 and Class 12 exams. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced the change. This new document replaces separate marks sheets and passing certificates.

New Marksheet Features

The consolidated document will include both academic marks and the passing certificate. A passport-sized photograph will appear on the certificate. A QR code will also be integrated.

This QR code will allow institutions and employers to verify the marksheet's authenticity. This aims to prevent forgery. The board is also standardizing student details.

Student names on the document will match official records like Aadhaar. This will prevent discrepancies during admissions or job applications. The board will implement this change soon.

This reform is expected to simplify administrative processes. It will make managing academic records easier for students. The need for multiple documents will decrease. Overall efficiency in verification will improve. Lakhs of students across Maharashtra will benefit.
