The last date to apply for the MAHA TET 2026 exam is April 16, 2026 . The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) started the application process on March 27, 2026, on the official website, mahatet.in. This exam is for those who want to become teachers in Maharashtra schools for classes 1 to 8.
The MAHA TET Paper 1 will be held on June 21, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Paper 2 will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM on the same day. Candidates must fill out the online application form to be able to take the exam.

Exam Details
The MAHA TET exam checks the ability of candidates to teach. It has two papers:

The exam is conducted offline using a pen and paper. There is no negative marking in the MAHA TET exam. Candidates need to score at least 60% (General category) or 55% (Reserved categories) to pass.
