The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will soon begin online registration for the **MAH BEd CET 2026** exam. This exam is for students who want to join Bachelor of Education (BEd) colleges across Maharashtra. The application forms are expected to be available online by the **last week of December**.

The exam dates for MAH BEd CET 2026 were announced in November. Students looking to become teachers should prepare for these important entrance exams. Who Can Apply: MAH BEd CET Eligibility 2026

The rules for who can apply are expected to be the same as last year. Here are the main requirements:

A. For Maharashtra State Candidates:

  • You must be an Indian citizen.
  • You should have passed a Bachelor's Degree or a Master's Degree.
  • For degrees in Science, Mathematics, Social Sciences (History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Psychology, Philosophy, Education, Library), Humanities (Languages and Literature), or Commerce, you need:
    • At least **50% marks** if you are from the Unreserved (UR) category.
    • At least **45% marks** if you are from Backward Class categories in Maharashtra.
  • For degrees in Engineering and Technology (with Science and Mathematics), Management, Computers, Law, Information Technology, Agriculture, BBI, Medical Sciences, Social Sciences, Fine Art, or Performing Art:
    • At least **55% marks** for all candidates.
    • At least **50% marks** if you are from Backward Class categories in Maharashtra.

B. For All India Candidates (Other States):

  • You should have passed or appeared in any Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree from a recognized university.
  • You must score a minimum of **55% marks**. This applies to all categories.

C. For NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National/CIWGC Candidates:

  • You must have valid documents for your category (NRI, OCI, PIO, Foreign National, CIWGC).
  • You should have passed or appeared in any Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree from a recognized university.
  • You must score a minimum of **55% marks**. This applies to all categories.
