Seat Allotment Process
After seat allotment, candidates must verify their selection via the login portal. Seats within the top six preferences are automatically frozen. Accepting these requires paying the seat acceptance fee. This action makes candidates ineligible for subsequent CAP rounds.
For seats allotted beyond the first six choices, candidates can select the "Not Freeze" (Betterment) option. This allows eligibility for higher preference seats in future rounds. A non-refundable seat acceptance fee of Rs 1000 is still required to confirm the current allotment.
