LPU Celebrates Graduation of International Students from 40+ Nations

Lovely Professional University (LPU) recently held a colorful and joyful graduation ceremony for its international students. International students from more than 40 nations donned graduation gowns and caps as they celebrated the day.

The ceremony featured students from nations such as Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Mongolia, Myanmar, Yemen, Morocco, Sudan, Nepal, South Sudan, Ivory Coast, and several others.

The ceremony was led by LPU Chancellor Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal. There were a few dignitaries too, such as Mohamed Ahmed Mohamud, President, Jamhuriya University of Science and Technology, Somalia; Jean Asantewaah Oduro, First Secretary, Ghana High Commission, New Delhi; and a few officials of LPU such as Dr. Rashmi Mittal, Dr. Jasapal Singh Sandhu, Dr. Sanjay Modi, Dr. Monica Gulati, and Dr. Aman Mittal.

Dr. Ashok Mittal, speaking on this day, told the students that they have an ocean of opportunities in front of them. He also added that they were trained at LPU so that they would be future leaders, cultural bridges, and change agents in this world.

Guest speaker Mohamed Ahmed Mohamud, too, wished warmest congratulations to the graduates for their hard work and determination. He said that it was an honor of the highest order to graduate from a world-class university like LPU and that now they were part of an international network of future leaders.

Dr. Aman Mittal, Vice President of International Affairs at LPU, welcomed the guests, faculties, and students. He went on to say that it was a matter of pride to witness the students graduating and wished them the best to do more in life, not just with a degree but also with cherishes and experiences from LPU.

The segment was capped off in style as the students took center stage. They sang Indian melodies, danced to the music of their homelands, and brought the auditorium alive with fervor and excitement. The segment was one of unity in diversity as people from all corners came together to celebrate a stunning spectacle.
