Steps to Apply for APTET 2024

For candidates who have not yet completed the registration process, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to aptet.apcfss.in.
  2. Fee Payment: Click on the 'Fee Payment' link on the homepage, pay the ₹750 application fee per paper, and obtain the 'journal number'.
  3. Complete Registration: Fill out the registration form with accurate details and upload the necessary documents.
  4. Submit the Form: Double-check all the provided information, submit the form, and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Examination and Application Fee

The APTET 2024 exam consists of two papers. Paper 1 is for candidates aspiring to teach classes I to V, while Paper 2 is for those aiming to teach classes VI to VIII. Each paper includes multiple-choice questions covering subjects like language, mathematics, environmental studies, child development, and pedagogy.

  • Exam Duration: Each paper will last 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Question Format: 150 multiple-choice questions per paper.

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹750 per paper, which can be paid online via debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking.

Eligibility and Preparation

Candidates should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria set by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh before applying. Mock tests will be available from September 19, 2024, to help candidates prepare for the exam.
