KVS Admissions 2026: Provisional Lists Out April 8

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) releases provisional admission lists today, April 8, 2026. The lists cover Balvatika 1, 2, and 3 admissions for the 2026-27 academic session. Parents can check their child's status online.

Admissions are for students selected under the Right to Education (RTE) provisions. They also include children from Service Priority Category 1 and II. Additionally, seats are allocated for filling reservation quota shortfalls.

Parents who registered online can view the provisional selection and waitlists on the official KVS websites. These are kvsangathan.nic.in or admission.kvs.gov.in.

The process to check the provisional selection and waitlist is straightforward. Parents should follow these steps.

1. Visit the official Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan website.
2. Locate and click the KVS Admission 2026 Selection List link.
3. Log in using required credentials.
4. Review the list for the child's name.
5. Save a copy for future reference.

The first provisional list for Balvatika 1, 2, and 3 is available today, April 8, 2026. For Class 1 admissions, the first provisional list for Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry will be released on April 10, 2026.
