Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) released the first provisional admission lists for Balvatika 1, 2, and 3 today, April 8, 2026. Parents can check the lists for selected and waitlisted candidates online. The admissions are for eligible students in the Right to Education (RTE) category, Service Priority Category 1 and II, and for filling reservation quotas.
The provisional lists are available on the KVS website. The admission process is for the 2026 academic session. KVS manages a network of schools across India.
How to Check Provisional Lists
Parents can check the KVS admission status online. Follow these steps:- Visit the official KVS website: kvsangathan.nic.in or admission.kvs.gov.in .
- Locate and click on the KVS Admission 2026 Selection List link.
- Log in using the required credentials from your application.
- Review the displayed list for your child's name.
- Save a copy of the list for your records.
For Class 1 and Balvatika admissions in Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry, the first provisional lists will be released on April 10, 2026. This is a deviation from the general schedule.
Required Documents for Admission
Parents must report to the assigned Kendriya Vidyalaya for admission. They need to bring original documents and photocopies. Required documents include:- Valid birth certificate (for Class 1).
- Digital photograph (maximum 200KB).
- Proof of residence.
- Aadhaar card.
- Parent service certificates (for priority categories).
- Category certificate (if applicable).
- EWS/BPL certificate (if applicable).
- Disability/CwSN certificate (if applicable).
