The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) is conducting the KEAM 2026 exam today, April 17. This is the first day of the exam, and it is for engineering candidates. The exam will take place from 2 PM to 5 PM.
KEAM 2026 Exam Details
The KEAM 2026 exam for engineering today is a Computer-Based Test (CBT). It will have 150 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will be given 3 hours to complete the paper. The exam starts at 2 PM and ends at 5 PM. After the exam, students can check for the question paper, solutions, and answer keys. An analysis of the exam and what students thought about it will also be available.
Important Information for Exam Day
Students must bring their KEAM 2026 admit card to the exam centre. They also need to carry one original photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN card, or Passport. Simple clothing is recommended, and students should avoid wearing flashy items or too much jewellery. Electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, and smartwatches are not allowed inside the exam hall.
Candidates should arrive at the exam centre on time, as mentioned on their admit card. After reporting, there will be a mock test to help students get familiar with the computer-based system. Once inside the exam hall, students cannot leave until the exam is over. Parents are not allowed inside the exam venue. Students should bring their own pens and pencils, and these items should not be shared.
Exam Structure
The KEAM 2026 engineering paper has three subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. There will be a total of 150 questions. Mathematics will have 75 questions, Physics will have 45 questions, and Chemistry will have 30 questions. Each correct answer will get 4 marks, and each wrong answer will have 1 mark deducted. The total marks for the exam are 600.

What to Expect After the Exam
Once the exam finishes at 5 PM, CEE will provide updates on the KEAM 2026 exam analysis. This will include the overall difficulty of the paper and how difficult each subject was. Information about the topics covered in the exam will also be shared. Memory-based questions and their solutions, along with expert answer keys, will be released to help students estimate their scores.
Other Important Dates
The KEAM exam for pharmacy candidates will be held on different dates. The Pharmacy exam is scheduled from April 18 to April 20, 2026, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM.
Candidates can download their KEAM 2026 admit card from the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in. They must print it and bring it to the exam hall. If a computer malfunctions during the exam, candidates will be given another computer, and the lost time will be adjusted. Rough sheets will be provided at the exam centre and must be returned at the end.
